What is ipad 3rd generation?

The iPad 3rd generation, also known as the iPad 3, was announced by Apple on March 7, 2012. It features a Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and is powered by Apple's A5X chip with quad-core graphics. The iPad 3 also introduced support for 4G LTE connectivity.
